Bringing Autumn in

The Autumn season has officially arrived, so draw the curtains, light the fire and snuggle up with your favourite film and chunky throw. The colder season is always more manageable snuggled up in soft textures and comforting colours, and that’s not just our wardrobes!

I love sourcing subtle and unique Autumn decorations that embody the season.

Things like introducing ornamental items, similar to these coloured table glassware that I found at nkuku. Coloured glassware can add a wonderful vintage look around a dressed table.

This is the perfect season to have the excuse to upgrade your throws, I found this super soft sage green mohair throw from Nordic House. It’s the perfect snuggle blankie!

Another season change that we should embrace is preparing hot soups, curry’s and stews. I have some staple recipes that I use for my family, but if you are stuck then follow Healthy Living James as he has some wonderful easy recipes that are hearty and healthy!

His sweet potato & black bean stew is one of my favs!

What’s new at Carly House Interiors?

Did you catch me in Septembers issue of House & Lifestyle magazine? I was discussion the benefits of hiring an Interior designer.

I have been a super busy working on a new dentist reception, a residential new build, communal entrance refurbishment and I’m starting to make plans for a full interior design package for a new build apartment block.

Im off to the Decorex show in London next month, which I’m very excited about and will report back on my findings!
